Waste Management Education and Advocacy

We advocate for proper waste management practices via  radio, television and public gatherings. We educate people on proper waste disposal, waste separation and the harmful effect of improper disposal on both the people and the environment.

An old saying tells us that it is easier to raise a child than to repair a broken man. With this in mind, we believe it is important to educate the younger generations on sustainability. With the partnership of Zoomlion Ghana Ltd Upper West Region, IEPER Ghana, Wa Branch, we have created Zoomkids clubs for children. Pupils who join these clubs get incentives like school bags made from plastic, pens, books, and erasers in exchange for time spent volunteering for sustainability projects, acting as agents of environmental change.

If you are interested in getting involved in the support or creation of these clubs, please get in touch.

Recycling Training

We organize trainings for zoomlion Ghana clients that teach how to turn their degradable waste into compost which can be used to grow food. We are currently creating a site dedicated to collecting degradable waste and transforming it into fertilizer which we supply to farmers within the upper west region of Ghana, Wa.

We also teach youth, girls and women how to transform plastic into school bags, laptop bags, tarpaulin, hammocks, and more, thus combatting the plastic waste problem.

Sales of Plastic Products

We turn plastic waste into bags, tarpaulin, laptop bags, phone purses, wallets, market bags, and other products. Check out our gallery and tell us which kind of products you need. We also make donations!

Connect with us to combat waste management issues together!

Waste Collection And Distribution

Unfortunately we are not currently able to recycle all the waste that is collected. In response to this, we distribute some of this waste to other partners in Kumasi and Accra, who process and recycle it into finished products. Considering the long distance from Wa to Accra and Kumasi, we would like to partner with local recycling plants in the future.
